I'm from Central Illinois, and I'm searching for a place to semi-retire. I'm about 20 years from retirement age, but I long to be near the Ocean, and now that my kids are grown, and before I get attached to my grandsons, I have to escape...I'm looking at the East Coast, from New Jersey to North Carolina, and perhaps, the Panhandle of Florida. I met some wonderful people from Ocean City this past February, while vacationing in Cancun. They were awesome, and and I have a feeling that it was a reflection of Ocean City. If anyone would care to fill me in on OC, I would appreciate it....I Sail, SCUBA, am a woodworker, who's interested in wooden boat restorations, and also, vintage aircraft....
